Morris Architects designed the new look for the First City Tower and have been selected as architect for the Williams Trace Baptist Church expansion.

Ziegler Cooper Architects has been commissioned by Bishop Joseph Fiorenza of the Galveston-Houston Diocese to design the new Cathedral in Houston. Charles T. Middlebrooks, AIA, has joined the firm.

Richard M. Harris, AIA, ACHA, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of FKP Architects, Inc. The firm is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Coltzer, Jr. to Vice President; R. Gregg Moon, AIA, ACHA, to Senior Associate and Senior Planner/Programmer; and Craig Grassle, AIA, to Senior Associate. Jack Duran, AIA, has joined the firm as a project manager and associate. FKP received two first place awards in the 17th annual ASID/Houston Chronicle Interior Design Awards competition.

Terry Hershey, Hon. Houston AIA, received the national Garden Club of America's Frances K. Hutchinson Medal for Distinguished Service to Conservation.
