Sandcastle Competition KudosI want to thank you for including us in this year's Sandcastle competition. Everyone on our team felt the warm welcome was first class from the beginning kick-off party at the Hotel Galvez to the awards ceremony on Saturday evening. All on the team were impressed with the friendliness of the sponsors, participants, and spectators, as well as the quality of the event's organization. Unexpected pleasures such as the free feed and tee-shirts cannot go unmentioned - every college student loves free stuff! Receiving the awards came as a surprise to all and only widened the grins on my teammates' tired faces, and strengthened our aspirations and excitations about competing next year. So thank you for all of the hard work that went into planning and executing the event. Pat Gremillion on the teams sub-committee was our main contact who kept us all well informed and up to speed. Thank you again, and expect to hear from us here at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture in the near future.
