The black tie event will be held on Friday, April 14, 2000, at the Aerial Theater in Bayou Place. A cocktail reception and silent auction begins at 7 pm with dinner, awards, and dancing to follow.
Underwriter tables are available for $10,000; Benefactor tables, $5000; Patron tables, $2500. Underwriter tickets are Monticello, $1000; Shadwell, $500; and Woodlawn, $250. Individual tickets are $125 and intern/student tickets, $90.
The event honors William M. Pena, FAIA, with the Thomas Jefferson Award, seven Design Award Winners; three On the Boards winners including the recipient of the Aspen Design Conference Scholarship; the Young Architect of 2000; an Honorary Member; and a community organization with the Citation of Honor.
Celebrate Architecture benefits the Houston Architecture Foundation, a catalyst for public understanding and interest in architecture and urban design. HAF, through its funding program, promotes awareness, understanding and appreciation of the ways in which architecture and urban design influence and enhance the quality of life in Houston.
Mark your calendar, reserve your table, honor your colleagues, and support expansion of public understanding of the value of architecture and urban design.
